Global High Performance
All Strassburger windows and doors are built for ultimate performance against air and water infiltration and exceed minimum Canadian standards prescribed by CSA-A440 performance guidelines. All tests are performed by independent test laboratories under simulatedconditions for weather and vandalism.
Air Tightness
A measure of the volume of air that could pass though a closed window at an air pressure differential that represents wind speeds of 40 kilometers per hour (25mph). Industry standard is A1
Water Tightness
Application of a uniform water spray at increasing air pressure (to simulate wind-driven rain) until water penetrates the window system. Industry standard is B1
Wind-Load Resistance
A measure of the products structural strength and is tested by applying increasing levels of air pressure to simulate wind force. Air pressure is applied until the products operation is impaired. Industry standard is C1
Forced-Entry Resistance
Indicates how well the locked product may resist entry with the use of tools for five minutes. Industry standard is F1
